This Privacy Policy explains what information Serfit PA ("we," "us," or "our") collects through the TailoredBriefings Service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect your email address; sign-in and session tokens used to authenticate you; your subscription and entitlement state; any optional profile you provide (such as role, firm type, and markets you follow); delivery and engagement signals (for example whether an issue email was opened or a link clicked, and which issues you view); and limited technical and log data. We receive your payment and subscription status from Stripe, but we do not collect or store your card number.
We use your information to deliver briefs and operate the Service; to authenticate sign-in; to process subscriptions and billing; to tailor coverage where you have shared preferences; to measure engagement (opens, click-through, conversion, and churn) so we can improve the product; to prevent abuse and enforce our Terms; and to comply with legal obligations.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card data is entered with and handled by Stripe and never touches our systems. Stripe's own privacy policy governs its processing of your payment information.
We rely on a small set of processors that handle data on our behalf: Stripe (payments and billing), Resend (email delivery and open/click events), and Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and inbound email routing). These providers process data under their own terms and only to provide their service to us.
We do not sell or rent reader data, and we do not run third-party advertising networks or cross-site ad trackers on the Service.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Issue emails may include a tracking pixel and wrapped links so we can measure opens and click-through. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
We keep your information while your account or subscription is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, and operational requirements. You may request deletion of your account data as described below.
We use encryption in transit, passwordless authentication, and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can access, update, or request deletion of your information by contacting us. Every issue email includes an unsubscribe link; note that unsubscribing from email does not cancel a paid subscription or stop billing — manage billing from your account page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data; contact us to exercise them.
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
The Service is operated from the United States and your information is processed there. By using the Service, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; material changes will be noticed by email or on the site.
